Shots were fired in this bookmakers on Racecourse Road Shots have been fired in bookmaker shops in Londonderry.Polices said they are investigating two shooting incidents at premises on Central Drive and Racecourse Road shortly before 20:30 GMT on Thursday.
One masked man entered the Central Drive shop and fired one shot. Two masked men entered the Racecourse Road shop and fired a number of shots.
There are no reports of any injuries, but staff are reported to have been left badly shaken.
SDLP MLA Pat Ramsey said he had been told the men entered the shops, said they were from a republican group and shot at poker machines.
