Police said the searches were in connection with dissident republican activity A man has been arrested in west Belfast in connection with dissident republican activity.The 35-year-old was arrested following searches in the Springfield Road area of the city.
A number of houses, nearby public areas and parks, were searched by police officers during Sunday.
Police said some items were seized and removed for further examination.
